Would you like to go here with me?

How would you like to go here for the 4th?

Wanted to let you know about the wonderful B&B my husband and I stayed at this Memorial Day weekend. The small but simply furnished kitchen was well stocked with delicious healthy snacks and meals. Homemade waffles and blackberries were served from a beautiful clean kitchen. The living areas and bedrooms were furnished with fresh plumped pillows, lovely matching sheets and down comforter, and scented candles everywhere.

The bathroom – ah…bubble bath, lotions, and fresh white towels. The library was stocked with books, magazines, and yoga videos. Best of all, my husband and I spent time together with not interruptions, chores, or traffic.

Okay – you guessed it…Thanks to you – this is my home. Thank you! Thank you!

If your living quarters bear no resemblance to this B&B, there is hope! It probably won’t be an oasis like the one described above by THIS 4th of July, but next year’s 4th? Absolutely, according to Marla Cilley {aka “the FlyLady”}. The note above was written to Marla by Laura in California, a very happy follower of Marla’s system for “managing clutter and chaos and getting your home – and your life – in order.”

I love the thought of EASILY maintaining your home {and not waiting until you’re having company over!}. Now if you have kids at home, the “no interruptions” will probably not apply, but you do have an opportunity to put into those little hands a duster, vacuum, laundry basket…you’ll never hear them say “I’m bored” again! {I don’t plan to tackle this plan ALONE!}

I’m starting on July 1st – will share more with you in a day or two. And if you’d like to learn more, check out Marla Cilley’s book I’ll be following entitled Sink Reflections, published by Bantam Books, and her website, www.FlyLady.net.  For me, this is a great time to give it a try – am hoping to have in place before that back-to-school pace picks back up.  Join along if you’d like!

  3. Hi : I must say, I’m amazed along with your web site. I did little difficulty navigating via every one of the navigation bars and information was very easy to reach. I ran across a few things i desired quickly whatsoever. Quite great. Would certainly have fun here when you increase forums or something that is, it will be a great opportinity for customers to have interaction. Best wishes!
